What's Our Story?

After 21 years in the consumer products industry, I made the decision to take off my corporate hat, and leverage the marketing knowledge I gained selling brands such as Gatorade, Bud Light and Campbell’s Soup.

I have found an entrepreneurial spirit and passion I never knew existed working with small business owners, and running local community programs.
I am a proud graduate of Kingwood High School, and Texas Tech University.

I have been blessed to work one on one with leaders from Fortune 500 companies; Local businesses and Start ups.

April 2019 I opened The Market Place, in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.  I knew nothing about running an apparel store, or fashion but knew consumer behavior.  I studied it for years right? Same behavior, different products!

I have enjoyed watching The Market Place grow into THE place to shop for fun, resort apparel around the Lake LBJ area.  I credit our success to our customers.  I listened to what you are looking for, and have worked hard to provide that.  After five years of serving our community, we closed the doors to the brick and mortar location so that I could do what god intended.  

With the store closed, I am excited to help other small business owners, as GrassRoots Marketing-Texas expands throughout the Texas Hill Country.

We know how to grow small business, because we are one! We know the market, and know YOUR customers.

We call them our neighbors.
